    Ngorongoro Crater  At Glance

    The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the World. It is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and is also a world heritage sight. The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is a naturally formed amphitheater. The walls rise 2,000 feet into the air and enclose the nearly 10 mile wide crater.
